There’s always a story behind a story, the same is true for acting modeling jobs. The acting modeling industry may seem glamorous to the naked eye, but it is really very cut-throat and ruthless.
You should pick which avenue you want to go in, whether it’s acting or modeling, but going for both at the same time may be more difficult. Both acting and modeling need different acquired skills that you need to learn.
Looking for an acting modeling job? Look at the list here.
Some characteristics a model should have is a clear face, good bone structure in their face and a good attitude. Those simple things could get you far in the modeling world. The figure of the model depends on the type of modeling, whether it’s run way modeling or plus size modeling.
As an actor, you should always strive to improve yourself and take acting classes or voice lessons. Your body language and voice are the first things that casting directors will notice about you when you step in that audition room.
As an actor/actress or model, you should have a stack of professional headshots that you can hand out. Make sure that you have these photos taken professionally and that they can be accessed easily.

Here is a good tip, hire a talent manager or better yet an agent. An agent won’t charge you unless they find a job for you and then they take a percentage of that – usually 10 percent. With an agent, you’ll have someone else looking for a job for you while you use the link above to find casting calls.
It’s important to note that you will need to develop confidence and thick skin because people will put you down a lot. You need to know in yourself that you are who you are and be confident in that. Don’t let anyone bring you down. In other words, develop thick skin now. Don’t take any of that criticism personally or it will really wear at your confidence.
